Dollinger Elected as President of American Nurses Association - New York

Dr. Marilyn Dollinger, DNS, FNP, RN, professor and executive associate dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing, was recently elected to a two-year term as president of the American Nurses Association - New York (ANA-NY).

She will be sworn into her new role on Saturday, Oct. 24, during the association’s annual conference. She will also serve as ANA Membership Assembly Alternate to the President.

A founding member of ANA-NY, Dollinger was appointed as the first chair of the ANA-NY Legislation Committee in 2013 and continues to serve as a consultant for that committee. In 2018, she was given ANA-NY’s Policy and Service Award, recognizing her significant contributions in the policy, legislative, and/or nursing service sectors of the profession.
