Running for a Cause

September 16, 2020

Lace up your running shoes, charge your phone, and get ready for the 2020 Teddi Trot Challenge. This year, the event—which raises funds for the Teddi Dance for Love—has a fun, digital twist.

Held from Monday, Set. 21 through Friday, Oct. 2, participants will use Strava, a running and cycling app, to track their miles. At the end of the two weeks, the Committee will crown the Teddi Trot Champion.

As the Teddi Trot will run through Alumni and Family Weekend, alumni and family members are encouraged to participate, too.

“The Teddi 39 Team has been working super hard to do all that we can this year. Our mentality for the year is ‘Do all that you can, with all that you have, in the place where you are, in the time you are given;’ a quote my family really has taught me,” said Emily Trotman ’21, this year’s Teddi chair. “We know it is going to look different, but we are super excited about the Teddi Trot Challenge since it is something new that everyone can take part in wherever they are! It is also a new way to engage our families and alumni at home!”
