Three New Faces Join Fisher’s Alumni Board of Directors
This year, the St. John Fisher University Alumni Board of Directors added three new members. The Board, which serves to foster alumni engagement, encourage volunteerism, and grow fundraising efforts, is composed of alumni who serve three-year terms.
New members include Rahsaan DeLain ’10 (M.S.), Kerry Ivers ’94, and Matthew Rizzieri ’09, ’11 (MBA).
Led by Chair Nate Driscoll ’06, the Board’s new members join Marc Anthony Bucci ’15, Libby Craig ’10, Kate (Tipper) Farley ’05, Corey Hepburn ’16 (M.S.), Chris Keyes ’10, Garrett Macdonald ’14, ’16 (MBA), Heather McGrane Minton ’09, Dr. Chastity Murray ’06, '08 (M.S.), '17 (Ed.D.), Mark Schnobrich ’06, Peter Stoller ’05, and Tashanda Thomas ’11.
DeLain, a graduate of the mental health counseling master’s program, is adjunct faculty at Fisher teaching classes in clinical mental health counseling. He is passionate and dedicated to social justice, and is currently pursuing his doctorate at Syracuse University.
A graduate of Fisher’s communication and journalism (now media and communication) program, Ivers is the director of developmental services for the Town of Penfield. She brings vast experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for municipalities and organizations.
The newest “Double Cardinal” on the Alumni Board, Rizzieri holds both a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Fisher. He has not only pursued his education here at Fisher, but has also participated in the Family Business program through the School of Business. He is a vice president in project management at LMC Industrial Contractors.
Throughout the year, the Alumni Board of Directors assists in generating excitement around capstone Fisher events, including Alumni Weekend, the Fisher Flight Plan student trip to Washington, D.C., and the Scholarship Golf Tournament as well as finding engagement opportunities with regional chapters across the country.
