Fisher’s American Marketing Association President Nico LaRosa, E-board members, faculty, and students recently planned the chapter’s Annual Conference on Friday, Oct. 24. With more than 100 session registrations and around 55 students in attendance, the event showcased impressive engagement and enthusiasm from participants.

Over 20 students participated in the Marketing Strategy Competition, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual, showcasing their innovative thinking and teamwork.

“This year, with help from our sponsor Northwestern Mutual, we tried something different by putting together a real marketing case that challenged students to think strategically and creatively,” LaRosa shared.

Attendees also heard from a lineup of inspiring guest speakers, including professionals from Black Button Distillery, Mercy Flight Central, and HubSpot. Each session had good student attendance and offered valuable advice and real-world insights.

The day concluded with a networking session that enabled students to connect directly with representatives from companies such as Butler/Till, Western Veterinary Partners, and First American. “It was wonderful to see students getting face-to-face advice and making connections that could help them in the future,” added LaRosa.

The conference highlighted collaboration, preparation, and passion for marketing among the AMA chapter and those who attended.
