Campus Ministry Hosts Candy, Art Supply Drives
The Office of Campus Ministry is helping St. John Fisher University students host two donation drives to benefit children in the Rochester area.
Students will once again be preparing more than 150 treat bags for the children at St. Ambrose Academy. The bags supplement their annual costume parade and All Saints/Souls celebration, and they are now collecting donations of Halloween candy (please ensure candy is allergen-free), small toys, stickers, or trinkets.
Students are also collecting art supplies, including crayons, markers, and watercolor paint sets for Free Art Collective’s “art first aid kits” initiative. These supplies will be made into kits for children experiencing hospitalization or treatment as art therapy opportunities.
Donations for both initiatives can be brought to a bin in the Mendick Family Narthex in the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.
