Family Weekend Serves Up Food, Football, and Fun

Experience fall at Fisher during the annual Family Weekend, happening Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

With Fall Fest, a food truck rodeo, and the annual Teddi Trot, Family Weekend promises to offer fun for the whole family. This year, Family Weekend coincides with the 20th annual Courage Bowl, ensuring an exciting afternoon of Fisher football.

Tickets are now available for purchase; a bundled package includes admission into the Parking Lot Parties, Cornhole Tournament, Fall Fest, and more. Bring the whole family for a weekend of Fisher fun with food, music, and games.

Friday, Oct. 3

Crafting in Tepas
6 to 8 p.m., Dennis ’72 and Denise Tepas Commons
Join Game Night Roc for a night of trivia with a few fun twists and classic Fisher favorite foods! Tickets ($3 per person) must be purchased in advance through Family Weekend registration.

Twisted Trivia with Game Night Roc
8 to 9:30 p.m., Basil 135

Saturday, Oct. 4

Corn Hole Tournament
11 a.m. to noon, Upper Quad

Parking Lot Party and the Courage Bowl
11:30 a.m., Growney Stadium
Enjoy snacks and awesome Fisher giveaways before cheering on the Fisher football as they take on SUNY Brockport in the 20th annual Courage Bowl. Kick-off is at 12 noon.

Fall Fest
2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Various Campus Locations
Celebrate all things fall with pumpkin painting, crafts, apple cider, donuts, and more!

Parking Lot Party and Fisher Soccer
3:30 p.m., Growney Stadium
Enjoy snacks and Fisher giveaways before the women’s soccer team faces Russell Sage College.

Food Truck Rodeo
5 to 7 p.m., The Terrace at Dennis ’72 and Denise Tepas Commons
Get dinner from one of three food trucks (Bay Vista, Macarollin’, or Tony Tomatoes). Food truck tickets ($11) must be purchased in advance through Family Weekend registration.

Sunday, Oct. 5

Annual Teddi Trot
8:30 a.m., Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center
Grab the family for a fun color run/walk while supporting the Teddi Dance for Love Committee.

Catholic Mass
10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great

Brunch
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ward-Haffey Dining Hall
