Fisher Welcomes 65 New Employees to Campus
This academic year, 65 new faculty and staff joined St. John Fisher University, teaching in classrooms, coaching student-athletes, and ensuring campus services remain vibrant and bustling.
The School of Arts and Sciences welcomed two new faculty members, Emily Lowman (visiting assistant professor) and Timothy Powers (psychology).
Andrew Gallan (management), John LeCounte (management), Fan Li (accounting and finance), Kevin Maier (accounting and finance), and Joon Yong Seo (associate dean) joined the School of Business.
In the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education, the Ed.D. program welcomed Danielle Forbes (visiting assistant professor) and Victoria Jackson (senior administrative assistant). Augustina West also joined the program as the director of the Iona University extension site.
Four new faculty began teaching at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, including Bryan Horne (pharmacy practice), Teresa Liu (pharmacy sciences), Greta Staubly (pharmacy practice), and Mary Wines-Samuelson (pharmacy sciences).
In the Office of the President, Mary “Mimi” Wheeler joined the University as the senior executive assistant.
Fisher also welcomed Amy Kovach as the new associate provost. Other new and familiar faces in the Academic Affairs Division are Monica Weber, who serves as an academic advisor and Laurie Valentino, who returns to campus as the associate director of career services.
The Enrollment Management Division welcomed Dane Faes (Student Financial Services), Ebony Testman (Student Financial Services), and Isabella Rey ’25 (Office of Admissions). Matthew Lake ’03 returns to campus as the director of student success and retention.
Twenty-three new staff members joined the Athletics Department, including Jason Byam ’08 (men’s tennis), Logan Callahan (men’s lacrosse), Erinn Camp (softball), Logan Chase (women’s lacrosse), Richard Consaul (softball), Ralph Damerell (women’s basketball), Eddie Daoreuang (women’s volleyball), Julia Delgatti (women’s soccer), Marykate Edmunds ’14 (women’s lacrosse), Eduardo Figueroa (women’s soccer), Madeleine Goodman (field hockey), Trey Kernan (men’s tennis), Cassidy King (women’s lacrosse), Daniel Kuntz (women’s ice hockey), Grant Levermore (men’s volleyball), Enoch Li (women’s tennis), Jeremy Loncao (women’s soccer), Luke Lupisella (wrestling), Sean Marren (associate athletic director), Deorion Moore (football), Andrew Roman (baseball), Joshua Smith (men’s soccer), Laura Thiele (women’s volleyball), and Emily Vierno (athletic training).
Sheila Harris (Controller’s Office), Alexandra Phillips (Controller’s Office), and Daniel Glad (OIT) are the newest members of the Financial Affairs Division. Additionally, Facilities Services welcomed Jose Alvarez-Rivera (Custodial Services), Iryna Druziuk (Custodial Services), Luis Gonzalez (Custodial Services), Benjamin Mulhall (Grounds), Ivan Pavliukh (Custodial Services), Antonio Reyes (Custodial Services), Anatolii Shchabelnyi (Custodial Services), and Gordon Varalli (Custodial Services).
In the Student Affairs Division, Chris Keyes ’10, ’20 (MBA), Jasmine Monroe, and Bianca Genao ’15 have joined the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, while Alyssa Gibson and Rebecca Potter are serving as mental health counselors with the Health and Wellness Center. Lesia Hrycyna, Caillou Rivera, and Sarah Rocha are new faces in Residential Life. Four employees—Joshua Bolt, Iliana Lopez, Ira Srole, and Tristan Sulecki—joined the Office of Safety and Security.
