A Message from President Gerard J. Rooney

It was wonderful meeting many of you during our recent Family Weekend on campus. I hope you were able to enjoy time with your student, dine in our dining hall, and participate in one or more of the campus events.

All students have now received their iPads as part of our new iFisher: Next Generation Learning Initiative. We have received a positive response so far, and the students are truly immersing themselves in the benefits of the technology both in and out of the classroom. I trust they have shared more with you as well.

Thanks to all who responded to our recent questionnaire regarding our Campus Conversation sessions. Your feedback will be helpful with our planning for upcoming sessions. Please save the date for our next Campus Conversation with students and families, taking place on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. Registration details will be forthcoming.

We are halfway through the fall semester, and I hope that your student is enjoying their Fisher experience as much as we are enjoying having them back on campus and providing in-person instruction and events.
