Emily Drake ’20, Justin Beeman ’22, and Taylor Ketcham

Sport management majors Justin Beeman ’22, Emily Drake ’20, and Taylor Ketcham ’21 will travel to Kingston, Jamaica, to volunteer with the JASY program. The two-week mission outreach program is committed to improving the lives of economically disadvantaged Jamaican children through sport and physical activity.

JASY utilizes sports training as a vehicle to improve self-esteem, physical well-being, teamwork, and cross-cultural learning. The volunteer-based organization does not offer paid staff and relies upon donations and in-kind sponsorships. St. John Fisher College has been a volunteer sponsor of JASY Camp since 2012.
