Students, faculty, and staff at St. John Fisher College raised more than $1,000 during the annual Wheels ‘N Steals basketball game.

Sponsored by Fisher Athletics, Student Athlete Mentors, and the Fisher Sport Management Club, the basketball game benefits Rochester Wheels. The organization’s Division III NWBA Basketball team has existed for 45 years. Through the nonprofit, adult players mentor youth with disabilities. The organization also provides crucial support to adults who acquire a disability and want to keep active post-injury or medical diagnosis.

The team, comprised of both men and women, participates in Exhibition Fundraiser Games to help fund their team’s tournament schedule and provide important outreach and disability awareness to the community.
