Fisher’s Health Graduate Programs Rank Well Among U.S. News’ Top Grad Schools

Master’s programs offered through St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing and Wegmans School of Pharmacy are among the top 120 programs in the country, according to a ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

Fisher ranked No. 89 for Best Nursing Schools: Master’s in the 2021 edition of the publication’s “Best Nursing Schools” lists. The program climbed 39 spots over last year’s ranking. The School’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked No. 110 in the publication’s Best Nursing Schools: Doctor of Nursing Practice list.

The School offers five Master of Science in Nursing degrees including Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner; and Adult/Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist; as well as a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling.

The Wegmans School of Pharmacy, whose most recent graduates outperformed state and national pass rate averages on two licensure exams, was ranked No. 90 in the Best Pharmacy Schools category of the “Best Health Schools” lists.
