Isar Kiani and David Kunsch

Dr. Isar Kiani, assistant professor of marketing at St. John Fisher College, recently published an opinion piece in the Rochester Business Journal about New York state’s ban on plastic bags.

The piece, which was published on Thursday, Feb. 27, looks at how the ban may impact shoppers’ purchase behavior.

In their ongoing column for the Rochester Business Journal, David Kunsch, associate professor of strategy at St. John Fisher College, and Pouya Seifzadeh, assistant professor of strategy at the State University of New York at Geneseo, share their thoughts on the effects of COVID-19 on the global business world.

In the piece, Kunsch takes the optimistic approach, arguing that any interruptions to business because of COVID-19 will force organizations to make their systems more resilient, which will, in turn, help them in future situations.
