Sciences Librarian Michelle Price Presenting and Publishing

Michelle Price, sciences, health science, and special collection librarian at Lavery Library, presented at the Online Instruction Show & Tell Series earlier this year.

Price shared Fisher’s experience utilizing iPads in the classroom and library. Additionally, Price was published in Oxford Academic’s Pain Medicine Journal, for her co-authoring of the article “Teaching Implicit Bias and Its Management in the Pain Care of Sickle Cell Anemia Patients in a Hyflex Pre-Professional Classroom During COVID-19.” The article was written alongside Jill Lavigne, professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, and Aleah Groman, adjunct professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
