Biology Honor Society Inducts 32 New Members

St. John Fisher University’s Upsilon Rho chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) Biological Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 4.

In addition to inducting new members to the honor society, Fisher’s chapter also gave out several awards. Alexander Fischette was given the Research Award, which recognizes the TriBeta member who conducted the greatest number of hours of research, were awarded grants, and presented at conferences. Owen Bogue was honored as Best Member.

The chapter inducted 30 new regular members and five associate members. 

New regular members included Isabella Getter, Lillian Gottstine, Victoria Slade, Olivia Corbin, Andres F. Duran Botero, Sara L. Miller, Benita Parajuli, Anna Bletsko, Alannah Dillon, Dylan Andres Esquivel, Riley Jameson, Alyssa Karsten, Anna Stone, Erin Anson, Annaleise Douglas, Lily Farrell, Dayana Nicolle Gonzalez Rosario, Nick Karnyski, Kirsten Rebecca Webster, Sarah N Burgess, Sidney China, Grace Ike, Ashley Kidder, Joshua Ryan Lopez, Matthew Lostracco, Ashley R. Mecca, Manpal Singh, Zachary Walline, Katie Huber, and Randy Urena.

New associate members include Therese Murry and Ryan Skanes.

The chapter also installed new officers: Natalie Gantress, president; Natalie Herron, vice president; Olivia Corbin, secretary; Lillian Gottstine, historian; and Calleigh Farley, treasurer.
