Cardinal Health Fair to Bring Interactive Wellness Education to Campus
The Cardinal Health Fair, led by students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, aims to empower the campus community with practical and accessible health knowledge through hands‑on learning. It will take place on Friday, Feb. 13, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Donald E. Bain Campus Center and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
The fair is a collaborative project supported by Wegmans, Fleet Feet, and Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International, and will feature eight interactive educational tables.
For James Willard, pharmacy student and president of his class, the Cardinal Health Fair represents years of vision and dedication. This project has been in development since he first joined the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
“Without the support of my peers and faculty, this event would not be possible,” Willard said. “Because of the blessings, guidance, and experience I’ve gained at St. John Fisher, we’ve finally been able to get the wheels turning.”
The fair also aims to strengthen trust between healthcare workers and the communities they serve. By offering clear, approachable information on long‑term health concerns, the goal of the Cardinal Health Fair is to help students build healthy habits early and feel more confident navigating future health decisions. With technology rapidly evolving, Willard emphasizes the importance of expanding our understanding of the future of healthcare.
“Everyone’s health is important, and the better prepared you are now, the more empowered you’ll be in the future,” Willard said.
