Your Purpose is Calling: Attend the Faith in Action Fair

March 23, 2026

On Tuesday, April 7, students, faculty, and staff can attend the Faith In Action Fair to learn more about local, regional, and national short- and long-term service opportunities, including gap-year service opportunities for students.

Students pack boxes during the Campus Ministry alternative Spring Break trip.

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Dennis ’72 and Denise Tepas Commons and the Donald E. Bain Campus Center Atrium.

Organizations including FrancisCorps, Catholic Charities Community Services, Islamic Relief USA, Notre Dame Learning Center, Rochester HOPE, The Margaret Home, Foodlink, Special Touch Bakery/Holy Childhood, Habitat for Humanity, and more will be on hand to share service opportunities and to educate members of the campus community about their mission.

The fair will also include a panel discussion, “From Purpose to Profession: Integrating Your Life and Your Career,” featuring members of the Fisher community who will share their various perspectives through an alumni, spiritual, academic, and athletic lens as they talk about their own gap year of service, why they chose that path, what mattered for them, and how it shaped their career choice and trajectory. The panel will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the COP Conference Room on the second floor of the Donald E. Bain Campus Center.
