Dr. Carol Wittmeyer, visiting associate professor and interim associate dean in the School of Business, served as an invited presenter during a workshop offered by the North Country Center for Businesses in Transition.

The workshop, which was titled, “Intergenerational Family Transitions, Creative Solutions and Alternative Structures,” was intended for both retiring owners of family businesses and entrepreneurs interested in taking over existing businesses. It is part of a series of events offered through a collaborative partnership led by the Adirondack North Country Association and was hosted by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

Wittmeyer’s time at Fisher has included helping to develop the College’s new Family Business Initiative and its Next Generation Leadership Program, an effort to help prepare family businesses for leadership transition and succession.
