Sacco’s Research Recognized by Eastern Nursing Research Society

Dr. Tara Sacco, visiting assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Nursing, was recently recognized by the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) for excellence in nursing research.

She won first place in the ENRS Peer-Reviewed Doctoral Paper Presentation, and was honored during the organization’s Opening Session of the Virtual Conference, held in March.

Sacco’s research, “The Relationship of Critical Care Nurses’ Work Environment to Compassion Fatigue,” was created during her doctoral work at Villanova University’s M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, in collaboration with Villanova faculty members Drs. Helene Moriarty and Nancy Sharts-Hopko.
