Leadership Opportunities

Whether on- or off-campus, Fisher offers a number of opportunities for students to develop leadership skills throughout the year. There are many ways to get involved!

LeaderShape® is an organization dedicating to help people lead with integrity and have a "healthy disregard for the impossible." In the fall, students can participate in a one-day program on campus focused on learning more about themselves and connecting to causes they are passionate about.

Emerging Leaders Program

This is a six-week program, which takes place in the spring semester aimed at identifying and developing the leadership styles of underclass students. The program is open to all students, however it is geared more towards freshmen and sophomores. Upon completion of the program, students will be better prepared to take on leadership roles throughout campus.

Leadership Conference

Each year, the Leadership Council coordinates a conference on campus with speakers and breakout sessions. This is a great way for students to meet other leaders and become inspired – at no cost!

Campus Involvement

Finally, the most important aspect of developing leadership is to actually lead!  We encourage all students to get involved with clubs and events on campus in hopes that it will help improve both their interpersonal skills as well as their ability to lead.

Students are encouraged to log in to FisherSync to join any clubs and to learn more about events and leadership programs!
