10/30/2023 - St. John Fisher University will soon begin work on a multimillion-dollar library modernization and renovation project, the largest capital project both in scope and investment in the institution’s history. Construction will begin in early 2024 with plans for completion by summer 2025.
10/30/2023 - St. John Fisher University has appointed Dr. Holly Brown as the new executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing.
10/27/2023 - In fall 2022, St. John Fisher University joined the Consortium on Trauma, Illness, & Grief (TIG), a trauma response program that helps institutions effectively respond to challenges facing students and campuses more broadly. One year later, Fisher has nearly doubled the number of employees trained in crisis response skills, and has the largest higher education team regionally.
10/27/2023 - The Teddi Dance for Love Committee will mark the 100-day countdown to the longest running student-led tradition at Fisher with events and activities all week. Teddi 42, a 24-hour dance-a-thon that benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, will take place Friday, Feb. 9 through Saturday, Feb. 10 at St. John Fisher University.
10/26/2023 - During its annual celebration, the Rochester Education Foundation (REF) honored three St. John Fisher University alumni, including Dr. Marlowe Washington ’19 (Ed.D.), senior diversity officer at the University.
