11/11/2021 - A documentary by Linda Moroney, an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College and Rochester-based filmmaker, recently broadcast on WXXI. The film, “Women and the Vote,” is a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. Emily Passmore, a senior media management major, also worked on the film as a Summer Research Fellow.

11/10/2021 - The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), a partnership between the American Association of Colleges of Nurses and the City of Hope, in Duarte, California, once again included St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing on its ELNEC-Undergraduate Champions List.

11/08/2021 - The longest running student-led tradition, the Teddi Dance for Love, celebrates a major milestone in 2022. This week, the over 200-member committee will be decorating campus and holding special events to mark the 100-day countdown to the main event, which officially begins on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

11/03/2021 - Rachel Makowski learned the ins and outs of football operations working with the Cardinal football team. Today, she uses the knowledge and the skills honed through several internships with the Buffalo Bills to assist her hometown team on game days at Highmark Stadium.

11/03/2021 - At 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, the Basilian Fathers will celebrate the start of their Bicentennial Celebration with a Founder’s Day Mass. The Mass will take place at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great. That same evening peer ministers will host a “Friendsgiving” dinner for students.

11/01/2021 - This week, 33 students from across the College will participate in the annual PwC Challenge case competition hosted by PwC – an international audit, consulting, and tax service firm - an event that has typically only attracted business students in the past. But according to Erica Sysol, visiting assistant professor in the School of Business and the faculty member leading the charge for the 2021 competition, School faculty found a way to broaden the participant pool.
