Fisher was included among the top tier institutions in the National Universities category, which assesses undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs. The College ranked No. 186.

“Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fisher community has risen to the challenges we have faced. Continued inclusion on rankings such as this are proof of our resiliency and ability to deliver exceptional educational experiences to our students,” said Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, president of the College. “I am grateful to our faculty and staff, who continued to provide a rich learning environment for our students. I am impressed with our undergraduate and graduate students for their perseverance and commitment to their studies. And I am proud of our alumni, whose personal and professional successes have positive impacts on the communities in which they live and work.”

Fisher also ranked No. 46 on the 2020 Best Value Schools; No. 72 in the National Universities Social Mobility category; and No. 121 on the Best Colleges for Veterans list. The College was also included in the publication’s “A+ Schools for B Students” list. The School of Business undergraduate programs were ranked No. 324 and the Wegmans School of Nursing undergraduate programs ranked No. 251.

Fisher’s intimate campus—the student to faculty ratio is 12:1—aids students in their successful completion of their first year and beyond. Fisher’s first-to-second year retention rate is well above the national retention rate for like institutions.

A student-centered focus and emphasis on engaged classroom learning translate into consistently high pass rates on licensure exams in professional programs, while across the College, internship opportunities, experiential learning, international experiences, career services and resources, and a strong alumni network help new graduates navigate their professional careers.
