CANCELLED: Fisher to Offer Free Student Vaccine Clinic This Week

April 12, 2021

***UPDATE: Given the CDC and FDA’s recently announced recommendation to pause the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to some reports of blood clotting, St. John Fisher College has cancelled this week’s student vaccine clinic.***

This week, St. John Fisher College will offer a free vaccine clinic to students as part of the New York State Department of Health Vaccine Program. The clinic is schedule for Tuesday, April 13 through Thursday, April 15.

The College expects to receive up to 500 doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which is a one-dose vaccine. Appointments are required and can be scheduled online.

The clinic will be staffed by members of the campus community and the vaccine will be administered by Health and Wellness Center staff as well as faculty and students in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy and Wegmans School of Nursing.

Students who are not able to obtain an appointment are also encouraged to place themselves on the call list in the event that extra doses become available.
