The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College officially welcomed its on-campus first-year students into the pharmacy profession during the annual White Coat Ceremony, held on Monday, May 10.

Members of the Class of 2024 pose in their white coats.

A rite of passage for students, the ceremony celebrates the successful completion of their first year at the School. Dr. Christine Birnie, dean of the School, Fisher’s President, Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, and Provost, Dr. Kevin Railey, all offered congratulatory remarks to the students.

Alumnus Dr. Amit Patel, president of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy’s Class of 2010, returned to campus to deliver the ceremony’s keynote address.
