At SGA Event, Students Spilled the Tea
St. John Fisher College undergraduates gathered Monday, March 21 to voice their concerns with members of the Student Government Association (SGA) during an event called the Sip ’n Spill. Director of Academic Affairs Ian Klenk led the discussion and encouraged students to speak up.
“The purpose of sip ’n spill is to make sure the student body has at least one definite way that they can interact with the SGA and raise their questions in a positive way,” said Klenk.
In small groups and then larger discussions, students spoke on a variety of topics from academic services to parking to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Newly elected President Ian Klenk and Vice President Jenna Vinoya may raise these concerns to the Provost as SGA works to enact change.
Those that missed the Sip ’n Spill are still welcome to attend SGA’s weekly meetings on Mondays from 7-8:15 p.m. in the Wilson Formal Lounge. All undergraduate students are welcome.
