Trillium Health gave a gift in honor of Mark Malahosky, who dedicated 20 years of service to Trillium Health and was a founding member of Fisher’s School of Pharmacy Advisory Board. The gift established the Trillium Health Mark Malahosky Endowed Scholarship to celebrate Malahosky’s lasting impact on the healthcare community and his commitment to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. The scholarship supports full-time students pursuing majors within a discipline in the health sciences with demonstrated financial need. Malahosky was also an adjunct associate professor at the School of Pharmacy.

The Joan and Roger Wirth Endowed Hardship Fund is given to students enrolled in the Wegmans School of Nursing who face extraordinary financial hardship due to unpredictable circumstances. Joan Wirth, a retired nurse from Monroe #1 BOCES, is dedicated to supporting future generations of nurses. Her hope through the gift is to ensure that students who may face unexpected hardships can continue their studies and pursue their calling to the nursing profession.
