Summer Academic Camps at Fisher: Registration Now Open

March 9, 2026

This summer, the Wegmans School of Nursing, Wegmans School of Pharmacy, and School of Business will host academic camps for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in pursuing a career in nursing, pharmacy, or business. The camps are hosted by each of the Schools on the Fisher campus.

Students in Fisher Business Camp t-shirts stand together in a classroom.

Registration is now open for all three camps. Space is limited, and interested participants are encouraged to register early.

Cardinal Nurse Camp

Cardinal Nurse Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10, at the Wegmans School of Nursing and includes a shadowing experience at Rochester General Hospital.

Students practice CPR skills during Cardinal Nurse Camp and Pharmacy Camp.

The week-long camp offers a range of activities to provide a better understanding of the nursing field and offers hands-on experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to learn critical life-saving skills including CPR and Stop the Bleed training, explore nursing through virtual reality simulations, engage in skill lab activities, and learn more about the college application process. They will also be able to meet Fisher alumni as well as current nursing students to hear about their experiences with the program.

The Cardinal Nurse Camp fee is $500 with lunch included. The deadline for registration is June 5, 2026. Participants seeking sponsorship for camp will require a letter of recommendation from their school counselor. Please contact Corey Jackson at nursecamp@sjf.edu or call (585) 385-8241 for more information.
