Fisher to Honor Alumni During Alumni Weekend

St. John Fisher University will honor 25 alumni and friends at two special celebrations during the upcoming Alumni Weekend, taking place Sept. 18-20.

Fisher will host both the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Celebration and the Alumni Awards Brunch.

The 2026 class of inductees to the Fisher Athletic Hall of Fame were selected for achievements on the field and their impact on the Fisher Athletics program. They will be honored at the induction celebration on Friday, Sept. 18. They are:

  • Corey Balcerzak ’11 (Football)
  • Alex Battle ’12 (Women’s Golf)
  • Ben Bostick ’13 (Baseball)
  • Taylor Hughes ’14 (Women’s Lacrosse)
  • Thad Weir III ’14 (Men’s Golf)
  • Emily Markarian ’17 (Field Hockey)
  • Pete Girardi ’18 (Men’s Track and Field)
  • Lindsey Thayer ’18 (Softball)
  • Mark VanMarter ’18 (Men’s Track and Field)
  • Paul Vosburgh (Football Head Coach 1991-2024)

Recipients of the Dean’s Medals and the Ten Under 10 Awards will be recognized at the Alumni Awards Brunch on Saturday, Sept. 19. 
Dean’s Medal recipients are recognized for their significant contributions to their School, their profession, and their community. The 2026 recipients are:
