Office of Multicultural Affairs
The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides opportunities for the campus community to participate in initiatives and activities that promote awareness of cultural, social, economic, racial, gender, and other forms of diversity in our society.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs sponsors programs and events year-round, including the Day of Celebration, which showcases the holiday traditions of diverse races and ethnicities in the United States and abroad. Other events that raise multicultural awareness include the annual Coexistence Dinner and Dialogue, which promotes religious acceptance and takes place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Diversity Clubs and Organizations
Opportunties to get involved in diversity initiatives abound at Fisher. The office works with nearly a dozen student organizations whose missions are to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation for diverse populations and ideas.
