This program prepares you to meet the educational requirements for CPA licensure in New York State. Students must have the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in accounting before enrolling.

Accounting Requirements

The MBA Finance concentration prepares you for careers across financial management industries and business sectors. Our program prepares you for roles requiring advanced financial decision-making. Through courses with an emphasis on technical proficiency and applied analysis, you will further develop the skills and knowledge for specialized roles in financial management.

The MBA General Management concentration prepares you for careers across all industries and business sectors. Our program prepares you to thrive and adapt to shifting business environments. Through courses with an emphasis on communication, negotiation, financial management, marketing, and leadership development, you will further develop the skills and knowledge to become a high-quality candidate in a variety of fields.

General Management Requirements

The MBA Health Systems Management is a cooperative program, offered in collaboration with the Wegmans School of Nursing. Coursework in this concentration will help you develop advanced leadership skills necessary to meet the challenges of increasingly complex health care organizations. You will develop the necessary skills to function in interdisciplinary teams to meet health care needs. The coursework will also focus on ethical theories, legal and practice standards, and advocacy considerations for decision-making in health care issues. 

Health Systems Management Requirements

The MBA Pharmaceutical Industry concentration is a cooperative program, offered in collaboration with the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at Fisher. The program will provide you with the skills and experience needed to assume management and sales positions within the pharmaceutical industry. Coursework in this program will enrich the dynamic classroom experience while connecting you with a network of other professionals within the pharmaceutical field.
