Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy

Fisher’s AI literacy minor equips you to evaluate AI’s capabilities, limitations, and societal implications as you prepare to take an active role in shaping its implementation across industries.

As an AI literacy minor, you will study the benefits and challenges of AI within real-world applications. You will delve into the historical development, core concepts, and diverse applications of AI while developing the analytical skills needed to navigate a world where AI shapes personal and professional spheres.

AI Literacy Program Overview

The AI literacy curriculum prioritizes opportunities for students to understand artificial intelligence and its emergence within other technologies, such as computer vision, robotics, multi-modal systems, and the Internet of Things.

You will take three foundational courses that build a framework for analyzing and applying AI. You will also choose three classes covering AI implementation in society, professional contexts, and the evolving workforce.
