03/19/2026 - Two Fisher nursing students had the opportunity to travel to Ireland with Dr. Tricia Gatlin, dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing, and Joy Hogan, visiting assistant professor, during spring break to study and assess the differences between hospice care in Ireland and the United States.
03/19/2026 - In 2016, a movement started with a single step on campus at Fisher. Faculty, staff, and students committed to highlighting mental health as an important element of overall health and well-being.
03/16/2026 - This week’s featured student in the “Countdown to Commencement” series is Victoria Howard, a psychology major nominated by Chris Keyes, director of student engagement and leadership.
03/16/2026 - Renowned paleobiologist and astrobiologist Dr. Andrew Knoll, Fisher Professor of Natural History and Earth and Planetary Sciences, Emeritus in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, will deliver the annual Loss Lecture at St. John Fisher University. Free and open to the public, the lecture will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall.

03/13/2026 - Students in the Department of Modern Languages will invite the Fisher community to explore the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures through food at the LSPN 340: Fusion and Flavor Culinary Showcase on Thursday, March 19, from 3:10 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Golisano Gateway Midlevel.
03/12/2026 - The School of Arts and Sciences Division of Humanities will continue its Dialogue in the Humanities series in March with a session led by Dr. Fred Dotolo, associate professor of history, who will present “The Archives of Rome.”
03/12/2026 - Dr. Vivek S. Dave, professor and chair in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has been selected for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP), a nationally recognized program that prepares pharmacy educators for leadership roles in higher education and academic pharmacy.
03/12/2026 - A group of 37 Fisher students and staff traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina for spring break to provide service to several organizations. Led by the Office of Campus Ministry, this was the largest spring break service group to date.
