10/28/2026 - For 20 years, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy has prepared pharmacists for lives of intellectual, professional, and civic integrity. To commemorate the anniversary, the School hosted events throughout National Pharmacy Week for alumni, faculty, staff, students, and supporters.
10/28/2026 - Hosted by St. John Fisher University’s American Marketing Association (AMA), the 2026 Marketing Week featured guest speakers, networking, and professional development opportunities for students.
10/27/2026 - This fall, students in the Learning Community course Arts in Action are studying how artists explore and comment on issues in the world. Through Eco-Cinema, the first of the three-part class, students look into the natural world, climate change, and humans' connection to the natural environment.
10/27/2026 - Dr. Holly Brown, executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at the St. John Fisher University Wegmans School of Nursing, has been inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN).
10/27/2026 - St. John Fisher University’s Lavery Library Modernization and Renovation Project was selected by the Rochester Business Journal (RBJ) as a Top Project, a recognition program that honors the best building and construction projects in the Rochester area over a 12-month span.
10/21/2026 - On Wednesday, Oct. 28, the Teddi Dance for Love Committee will start the 100-day countdown to the 45th annual dance marathon, the longest running student-led tradition at Fisher. Teddi 45, which benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, will take place Friday, Feb. 5 beginning at 8 p.m. through Saturday, Feb. 6 ending at 8 p.m. at St. John Fisher University.
10/20/2026 - When Melania Mammano began as a cashier at Wegmans, she did not expect it to lead to an internship opportunity to gain experience in the multidimensional components of store management. But after some encouragement from management to apply, the senior honors student spent her summer learning the ins and outs of store operations through Wegmans’ Store Operations Internship, rotating through departments and preparing for a leadership role within the company.
10/20/2026 - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education has received the 2026 Frank Murray Leadership Recognition for Continuous Improvement from the Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation (CAEP).
10/19/2026 - Learn about the robust Frederick Douglass Collection housed in the Special Collections held at Lavery Library at St. John Fisher University during the November First Friday Lecture, presented by Julia Novakovic, head of special collections and archivist.
10/19/2026 - St. John Fisher University is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Countdown to Commencement video series, which spotlights graduating students who have made a meaningful impact during their time at Fisher.
