02/20/2023 - Mathematics and statistics double major Marissa Brennan is the next member of the Class of 2023 to be featured in the “Countdown to Commencement” series. Brennan was nominated by Sarah Mancini-Goebert, assistant director, Office of Campus Ministry.

02/19/2023 - Over the weekend, hundreds of St. John Fisher University students danced their way to raise a record-breaking amount for Camp Good Days and Special Times. Funds raised at the dance—now over $2M in its four-decade history—support the Teddi Project, which sends a group of children on a week-long trip to amusement parks in Florida.

02/13/2023 - On Monday morning, the Teddi Committee hosted the annual Very Beary Brunch, officially kicking off the final countdown to the 41st Annual Teddi Dance for Love at St. John Fisher University.

02/13/2023 - Inclusive adolescence education and mathematics double major Michael Lilholt is the next member of the Class of 2023 to be featured in the “Countdown to Commencement” series. Lilholt was nominated by Dr. Tim Madigan, professor and chair, Department of Philosophy and Classical Studies.

02/10/2023 - St. John Fisher University will host the Advanced Placement (AP) Summer Institute this July, giving area teachers the opportunity to learn best practices in teaching AP-level courses in their respective districts.

02/09/2023 - For many years, St. John Fisher held a reputation as one of the top wrestling programs in the region. Running from 1965 to 1983, Cardinal wrestlers competed in NCAA Division III and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) championships, and held the title of Catholic National Champions numerous times. Following the 1983 season, the program ended and began a near 40-year hiatus.

02/08/2023 - St. John Fisher University has joined a worldwide network of over 11,800 academies by becoming a Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad), an effort that is part of the re-imagining of Fisher’s cybersecurity degree. Cisco is the world’s largest multinational, American-based digital communications corporation; the Networking Academy falls under their social responsibility initiatives.
