Countdown to Commencement 2026: Brooke Chase

February 23, 2026

This week’s “Countdown to Commencement” video features Brooke Chase, a marketing major nominated by Dr. Dan Connolly, dean of the School of Business.

Chase chose Fisher because of her passion for marketing, collaboration, and creative problem‑solving, areas where Fisher’s School of Business has helped her grow into a well‑rounded and confident business professional.

Eager to get involved, Chase ran for a first‑year senator position with the Student Government Association (SGA) and won. By her sophomore year, she was appointed SGA’s director of student life and organizations, a role she describes as both fun and deeply meaningful.

Her leadership journey continued as she was elected president of SGA during her junior year and again for her senior year, serving as a strong advocate for the student body.

Chase’s dedication to serving others has shaped her Fisher journey. “I have that ability to represent and really speak up for others, even when the conversation might not be easy.”

During the fall semester of her senior year, Chase began interning with the Office of Institutional Advancement on the Alumni and Constituent Engagement team. The opportunity to work closely with alumni and donors was a new experience, one she has embraced wholeheartedly.

Connolly praised Chase for her leadership and dedication. “Brooke exemplifies what it means to be a Fisher student — engaged, responsible, and a great advocate for Fisher.”

Chase hopes she has helped strengthen the Fisher community and inspired other students to take advantage of the opportunities around them.

“Fisher really has so many opportunities, and it’s just about taking advantage of every one that comes your way,” she said.
