This May, a sense of pride and accomplishment filled the air as the final cohort of the Noyce INSPIRE Scholarship Program celebrated their graduation. These scholars are set to receive their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with Inclusive Adolescence Education, ready to step into classrooms and inspire the next generation of thinkers.
The graduating class has proven to be as academically formidable as they are dedicated to service. This year’s cohort boasts an impressive list of accolades, including Honors Scholars and Dean’s List honorees, representation in Collegiate Athletics, and induction into Pi Mu Epsilon, the prestigious National Mathematics Honor Society.
With the graduation of this final group, the Noyce INSPIRE Scholarship Program has officially reached its ambitious goal of recruiting and preparing 20 STEM teachers specifically for high-needs schools.
"We are very excited and proud of all of our Noyce Scholars achieving their goals and being successful academically," said Dr. Kermin Martínez-Hernández, principal investigator of the Noyce Program.
The featured graduates include Aidan Conover, Shannon Ryan, Marissa Galley, Nicole LaBatt, and Ethan Morales, all of whom have demonstrated exceptional commitment to both their mathematical studies and their pedagogical training.
