Parking and operating a motor vehicle on the Fisher Campus is a privilege. All vehicles on the Fisher campus must be registered with the Office of Safety and Security and display a valid parking permit or pass on the vehicle.
Fisher will not be responsible for the loss of, damage to, or theft of any vehicle on SJF property.
Parking permit registration is open for residential and commuter students for Fall 2022/Spring 2023. Please be aware of our permit pricing.
Fees for residential and commuter student permits include New York state sales tax.
- Residential Student Permits - $150/year
- Commuter Student Permits - $100/year
First-year residential student parking will be available on a limited basis behind Murphy Hall with administrative approval. First-year students seeking campus parking should apply online.
Resident students may only register one vehicle.
Any residential students who plan to have an overnight visitor should obtain a Visitor's Permit from the Office of Safety & Security. These permits are free-of-charge.
To register for a Visitor's Permit, simply bring your visitor to the Safety & Security Office, along with your student ID and the visitor's vehicle information (make, model, color, license plate number).
By registering a vehicle at Fisher, the owner/operator consents to a search of the vehicle if there is reason to believe that contraband or evidence of activity that may violate our policy or local, state, or federal law is inside the vehicle.
You will need your credit card or checking account information and vehicle registration information before starting this process.
If you have any questions about parking, please contact Office Manager John LoTemple at: Jlotemple@sjfc.edu
I understand that fines will be imposed, my vehicle may have a wheel lock placed on and/or be towed, and my parking privileges may be revoked if I violate Fisher traffic regulations. I understand that Fisher is not responsible for loss of or damage to my vehicle while parked on Fisher property.
I agree to these terms by clicking the registration and payment link below. I further agree that incurring fines may result in revocation of my parking permit and/or my vehicle being towed.
