Housing Selection Timeline

Housing selection for the 2023-2024 academic year will take place as follows.

Housing Selection Dates and Deadlines

Monday, February 13 at 9 a.m.

Tuesday, February 28 from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

  • Residence Hall Showcase - Students will have an opportunity to see various room types in the upper-class residence halls. Stop by the lobby of any upper-class residence hall during the showcase time to participate. 

Wednesday, March 15 by 4:30 p.m.

  • Housing Application due on ResLife Online by 4:30 p.m.
  • Single room preference due by 4:30 p.m. using the Room Type and Roommate Preference form in ResLife Online.
  • Commuter students will be notified whether or not they are eligible to participate in housing selection by 6 p.m.

Single Room Selection

Students will log into ResLife Online at their assigned time and choose a single room. Students who preferenced a single room will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 16.

Tuesday, March 21 by 4:30 p.m.

Room Type and Roommate Preference form is due by 4:30 p.m. for Founders suites. Students who would like a suite must have a full group of 4 students by this deadline. This form is available on ResLife Online below the housing application.

Thursday, March 23 by 6 p.m.

Suite selection times will be available to group leaders on ResLife Online and email by 6 p.m. Suite selection is March 24.

Friday, March 24

Suite Selection

Group leaders will log into ResLife Online at their assigned time to choose a suite. Group leaders will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 23.

Sunday, March 26 by 11:59 p.m.

Room Type & Roommate Preference Form is due by 11:59 p.m. for double rooms. This form is available on ResLife Online below the housing application.

Tuesday, March 28 by 6 p.m.

Double room selection times will be available to group leaders on ResLife Online and email by 6 p.m. Double room selection is March 29 - 30. Chances for double rooms are not provided because there are too many variables and too many double rooms.

Wednesday, March 29 -Thursday, March 30

Double Room Selection

Group leaders will log into ResLife Online at their assigned time to choose a double room. Group leaders will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28.

Monday, April 3 at 9 a.m.

The Room Change Wait List opens at 9 a.m. on ResLife Online for students who wish submit a room change request.
