Boyce Family Nursing Scholarship at Fisher

The Boyce Family Nursing Scholarship Program annually supports eight incoming first-year undergraduate students majoring in nursing who are academically strong and have a demonstrated financial need.

The scholarship offsets the direct cost of tuition (and room and board for residential students) and enables students to graduate debt-free. The scholarship will be renewable for four years.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To qualify, scholars must be:

  • Enrolled full-time in nursing;
  • Pell-eligible;
  • Overall high school GPA of 3.0 or better.

Application Process

Eligible students will be invited to apply for this scholarship. As part of the application, students will submit a 300- to 500-word personal essay describing their interest and experience in nursing and what is driving them to pursue a nursing career. Students must complete the FAFSA to determine Pell eligibility.
