Great Beginnings Summer Orientation

Great Beginnings summer orientation is for incoming first-year students and their families to get to know what life will be like as a Fisher Cardinal.

Great Beginnings is an excellent opportunity to learn about life at Fisher, get questions answered, and meet with other new students.

What Happens at Great Beginnings?

Spend time on campus and make connections with other new students, as well as current Fisher students, staff, and faculty. In addition to getting to know others while learning more about Fisher, you will receive your iPad through the iFisher Initiative. Another highlight of Great Beginnings is getting a sneak peek at your first college course schedule! You will meet your first-year advisor, who is an integral part of your support network. Topics covered include academic support, student activities, residential life, accessibility, health, and financial services.

Meet Your First-Year Advisor

During the months of July and August we will schedule a personalized one-on-one Zoom meeting with your first-year advisor. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you. We will answer any questions you still have, help you feel confident about starting classes, and do our best to get you as excited as we are to officially begin your Fisher experience.
