Fall Orientation

Meet new people and learn about campus life, behavioral and academic expectations, campus support services, and all that Fisher has to offer!

Fall Orientation is required for all new full-time Fisher students, regardless of commuter or residential status. It's a fun-filled time for you to become acquainted with Fisher and enjoy activities with your new classmates.

Arriving On Campus

You'll need to arrive on campus on the Saturday of Fall Orientation weekend. Specific check-in information, including times, will be sent to you during the summer. You will receive your room and mailbox keys when your arrive on campus.

Orientation for the Family

Immediate family members are encouraged to join us on move-in day on Saturday. Help your student move into their residence hall and/or your commuter student check-in for orientation. Lunch will be provided for families at check-in. You can anticipate leaving campus in the early afternoon.

Orientation Leaders

Upperclass students are selected to serve as orientation leaders and help you with the transition to college. In early August, you will receive a letter from the Office of Campus Life including an introductory note from an orientation leader letting you know what you can expect during your first few days on campus.
