Appointments at the Health and Wellness Center
The Health and Wellness Center is located on the first floor of the Wegmans School of Nursing Building, Room 107.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m. While the center is closed on the weekends and after hours, students have 24/7 free, immediate, and unlimited access to medical and mental health visits through TimelyCare.
In-person medical care appointments are determined after triage by the medical team. General health services may be offered over a HIPAA compliant Zoom platform. To schedule, change, or cancel an appointment, please call us at (585) 385-8280 or email email@example.com.
For in-person appointments, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. Please arrive to the center with your Fisher ID and insurance card (or picture of your insurance card).
In-person counseling appointments are determined after triage by the counseling team. Mental health services may be offered over a HIPAA compliant Zoom platform. For in-person appointments, MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. Counseling appointments are scheduled online through the Patient Portal. We offer Rapid Access appointments. These are 30 minute first time appointments where students can connect quickly to a counselor. Please reference the counseling services page for more information on our services.
TimelyCare 24/7 Telehealth for Students
All students now have 24/7 free, immediate, and unlimited access to medical and mental health screening visits through TimelyCare.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, TimelyCare will remain an option for all students who are in need of health care or counseling support.
On-Demand Counseling Support from TimelyCare
Talk Now is a part of TimelyCare and is a free and confidential service that will immediately link you to a counselor for a tele-counseling session.
Scheduled Counseling is also now available through TimelyCare. This service allows students to meet with a consistent licensed mental health provider for up to 12 sessions.
In an Emergency
Contact the Department of Safety and Security at (585) 385-8111 for any medical or mental health emergency. When off campus, students should call 911.
Counselor on Call
During the academic year, there is an on-call counselor that may be contacted to assist in assessing the urgency of a mental health situation. This individual is accessed through the Department of Safety and Security.
