School of Business Inducts 19 New Members into Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society
April 24, 2026
This spring, St. John Fisher University’s Beta Gamma Sigma chapter tapped 17 students and two faculty members for induction. The international honor society is for AACSB-accredited schools representing the top five percent of business programs around the world.
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International. Inductees represent the top 10 percent of undergraduate and 20 percent of graduate students from accounting, finance, management, marketing, healthcare administration, and master of business administration (MBA).
This year, the School recognized Anthony Monaco ’83, Rochester Colonial CEO and corporate counsel, as the 2026 Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter Honoree. As an active member of the Rochester community, he served for many years on the Board of Trustees of the Aquinas Institute and the Italian American Community Center, of which he is a past president. Monaco also served on the School of Business Dean’s Leadership Circle and is a founding member of the School’s Family Business Program Steering Committee.
Following the keynote address, School of Business faculty, including Dr. Dan Connolly, dean; Dr. Joon Yong Seo, associate dean; and Kristin Lennarz, assistant dean and MBA program director, presented certificates to the new inductees, including:
Sophomores: Andrew Connolly, Gaetano Nasci
Juniors: Sean Cleary, Jack Darling, Olyvia Hansen, Justin Maier, Dominic Mroszczak, Michael Prentice, Gabriella Schifino, Robert Tan, Coleton Welter
Seniors: Jacqueline Gervais, Joseph Hillier, Jordan Kern, Megan McGrath
MBA Candidates: Jeanne Dolinar Lomison, Juan Carlos Saffie Robertson
