AP Summer Institute 2023
The Institute is designed for both new, relatively inexperienced teachers and experienced AP teachers desiring new strategies and methods. Teacher participants will earn 30 Professional Development (PD) hours for full attendance.
The College Board-endorsed Institute includes in-depth training in AP courses and teaching strategies, led by a College Board-endorsed consultant. Teachers will receive digital materials, including course outlines; content-related handouts; and student samples, scoring guidelines, and commentary for the most recent AP Exam free-response questions.
The APSI will be a four-day experience with hours from:
- Monday, July 17: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 18 - Thursday, July 20: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided daily.
Registration is a two-step process:
- Register for the course and pay at Fisher Next Registration.
- Register with College Board in order to receive the 30 Professional Development (PD) hours. No payment is required during this step.
