Initial to Professional

Convert Initial Certification to Professional Certification in TEACH:

  • Select Pathway: Certificate Progression and provide the required information
  • For the program code Select: No (you do not use a program code for this pathway because the Master’s degree is in a different area)

Verification from employer of three years of teaching experience or 540 days of teaching experience in the grade level (example 1-6, B-6, or 7-12) is required for initial certifications to become professional certifications.
