12/01/2023 - This April, students will have a unique opportunity that requires a boarding pass, a stack of business cards, and 48 free hours. Fisher Flight Plan, an immersive career networking and exploration experience, will once again take off to a new city, and applications are now being accepted through Friday, Jan. 26.
11/29/2023 - This fall, the Family Business Program at St. John Fisher University has seen an increased interest in its programming for general family business, women-focused events, and opportunities for next generation leaders. Launched in 2018, the program aims to connect family business peers in the Rochester region and beyond.
11/24/2023 - A shared passion for health care and research brought together an undergraduate from the School of Business and a fourth-year student from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy to work on a project at the University of Rochester’s Wilmot Cancer Institute.
11/21/2023 - A team of five finance majors from the St. John Fisher University School of Business participated in a kick-off event for the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute Research Challenge in early November.
11/16/2023 - Dr. Chantz Miles ’22 (Ed.D.), Rebecca Pelino ’86 Entrepreneur-in-Residence at St. John Fisher University’s School of Business, traveled to the University of Notre Dame for the annual 2023 Experiential Classroom clinic.

10/19/2023 - The St. John Fisher University Family Business program will celebrate the strength and resilience of women in family business at the Women in Family Business Mixer.
10/18/2023 - Each year, Dr. Monica Hodis, associate professor of marketing in the School of Business, hosts a Perfect Pitch Competition in her Personal Selling course, challenging students to create a 90-second pitch for an inside sales representative position with ADP. This fall, there were three winners, Kyle Farewell, Tyler Hopson, and Ryan Strassner, who snagged first, second, and third place respectively.
10/09/2023 - The First Friday Lecture Series returns this fall with an engaging lecture on the evolution of a Fisher education since the early 2000s. The panel discussion will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center.
