02/20/2026 - In summer 2025, Dr. Kathryn Connor, associate professor of pharmacy practice and administration in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, spent her sabbatical in a land far, far away amid kangaroos and koalas; rich culture; vibrant cities with museums, markets, gardens, and winter festivals; beautiful coastlines; and the Southern Cross constellation, seen only from the southern hemisphere.
02/16/2026 - This week’s “Countdown to Commencement” series features Brett Seaman, a pharmaceutical chemistry major nominated by Associate Professor Kevin Callahan.
02/13/2026 - Registration is now open for the 2026 Fisher Showcase, an event that features the creative and scholarly work of University students, faculty, and staff.
02/09/2026 - The Cardinal Health Fair, led by students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, aims to empower the campus community with practical and accessible health knowledge through hands‑on learning. It will take place on Friday, Feb. 13, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Donald E. Bain Campus Center and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
02/06/2026 - The St. John Fisher University 72nd Commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 with five ceremonies celebrating bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree recipients. Once again this year, the University is seeking student speakers through a nomination process open to all members of the campus community. Students may also self-nominate.
01/29/2026 - St. John Fisher University recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the Fall 2025 semester, which includes more than 1,500 undergraduate students.
01/16/2026 - In December, 22 students and several faculty from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy attended the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Meeting in Las Vegas.
01/13/2026 - St. John Fisher University has once again been selected among the more than 230 U.S. colleges and universities that have received the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement (CE) Classification, an elective designation awarded by the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching that highlights an institution’s commitment to community engagement.
11/06/2025 - St. John Fisher University students Alana Spano and Carly Zona were named recipients of the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) 2025 Dante Scholarship Award during an awards brunch held on Saturday, Nov. 1.
10/17/2025 - Dr. Christine Birnie presented alumnus Dr. Chris Woodring ’10 (Pharm.D.) with the Dean’s Medal during the annual Alumni Awards, held earlier this fall. The award recognizes alumni who have achieved success in their careers and made significant contributions to their communities.
