02/24/2020 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College welcomed two new faces to campus this spring. Dr. Joseph (Trevor) Belcher will serve as the new assistant dean of online education and Dr. Janet Lighthouse joined the faculty.
02/20/2020 - This spring, Dr. Kobi Nathan, assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, will be inducted into the newest class of American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Fellows.
02/19/2020 - Graduates from the Class of 2019 are finding success in their lives after Fisher, according to results from the First Destinations Survey (FDS) administered by the College annually to all bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degree recipients.
02/12/2020 - Harini Sivakumar and Lakshya Balan, two students from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in India, spent a month at St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
02/12/2020 - This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the founding of the Koinonia Medical Clinic, a health care facility in Pune, India, where members of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy have served since its inception. The clinic was established in 2010 in partnership with the Koinonia Fellowship.
02/10/2020 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College is now accepting applications for its newly launched Pharm.D. Online pathway.
01/27/2020 - This April, students will have a unique opportunity that requires a boarding pass, a stack of business cards, and 48 free hours. It’s called Fisher Flight Plan, an immersive career networking and exploration experience, and applications are now being accepted.
01/22/2020 - Two St. John Fisher College students—Christopher Coriddi ’21 and Giovanni Magliocchetti ’20 (Pharm.D.)—were named recipients of the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) Dante Scholarship Award.
01/21/2020 - Dr. Lauren Vicker, professor of media and communication, was invited to be a presenter on a webinar sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The topic was “Co-Curriculum Assessment Modalities across Accredited Pharmacy Programs,” and mainly detailed the results of a large-scale survey of pharmacy programs.
01/17/2020 - Dr. Kathryn Connor, associate professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has been elected to serve as president-elect of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Her term began on January 1, 2020 and it will be for three years.
