01/16/2026 - St. John Fisher University will host the 36th Annual Accounting Awards this March and is seeking nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Alumnus of the Year, and Rising Star Awards. Nominations are due by Tuesday, Jan. 27.

01/13/2026 - St. John Fisher University has once again been selected among the more than 230 U.S. colleges and universities that have received the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement (CE) Classification, an elective designation awarded by the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching that highlights an institution’s commitment to community engagement.

Partnering with small, owner-operated businesses, students in Professor Amy Valente’s Buyer Behavior course analyzed customer behavior, marketing strategies, and store operations, then provided actionable recommendations to support business growth.
